May MEETING
Our General Meeting is held on the second Wednesday of every month.
The next General Meeting will be on 5-09-2012 Ellison Miles Geotechnology Institute (EMGI). Brookhaven is
located at 3939 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, (Dallas) Texas 75244.
May Meeting: Our
speaker will be Michael J. Polycyn, director of Visualizations Laboratory and Adjunct Research Associate in the Department of Geological Sciences at Southern Methodist University. His research includes the early evolution of the Mosasauroidea and adaptations in secondarily aquatic tetrapods. Michael will be discussing "Bringing Mosasaurs to Life".

Purpose of the Society
The Dallas Paleontological Society
was founded in 1984 for the purpose of promoting interest in and
knowledge of the science of paleontology. It was intended by the
founding members that the Society would be a network for the exchange
of data between professionals and serious amateurs in this field.

Everyone is welcome to join the
Society. No special skills or knowledge are required for
membership.
The Dallas Paleontological Society is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization. Tax exempt donations welcome.
